What you are buying, what happens if you stop paying, and what we owe you either way.

01What you are buying

A licence to use this software on your own computers, for as long as your subscription is active. You are not buying the software itself, and you may not resell or redistribute it.

02If the subscription ends, the app stops

This is not a trial that degrades into a lesser version. When a subscription ends the app locks: no guards, no keys, no helper. Two things still happen. Every lock it was holding over other apps is released, so nothing on your Mac stays shut because a card expired. And your record stays exactly where it was, with the export button still working, so leaving never costs you your history.

03Billing and cancelling

Subscriptions renew until cancelled and you can cancel at any time, keeping access until the period you have paid for ends. Prices are shown before you are asked for anything. If a renewal fails the app locks rather than carrying on unpaid, and says so on its own screen instead of failing quietly. You are not cut off the moment a card is declined. Access continues for three days while the payment is retried, and a Mac that cannot reach our server keeps working for two more days on the licence it already holds — five days at the outside. Nothing is deleted at any point: your journal waits exactly as you left it, comes back on the next payment, and can be exported from the locked screen with no subscription at all.

04Refunds

If it is not useful to you, ask within thirty days of a payment and it will be refunded. No form, no explanation required.

05What we ask of you

Do not attempt to break the licensing, and do not use the software to place orders on an account you are not authorised to trade. Beyond that there is nothing to agree to: this app has no social features, no shared content and nobody else to be unpleasant to.

06Limits of liability

The software is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, liability for trading losses, missed trades, failed locks or any other consequence of using it is limited to the amount you have paid in the previous twelve months. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.

07Changes

These terms may change. Material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect, not buried in a version number, and your existing paid period is honoured on the terms you agreed to.

08Where this applies

The software is sold to customers in the United States, and these terms are governed by the law of the state named on the download page.

These are the same words the app itself shows, in Settings. If the two ever differ, the app is right and this page is a bug — tell us and we will fix it.
